I've been a great fan of Chitra Sivaraman-Iyer since I heard her sing wonderfully in 'Manadhai Thirudivittai'. Then came the 'Boys' song "Ale ale" where she sang with a totally different throw in her voice. And it was a lovely surprise to have her come in to The Music Mint to record a track for a Malayalam album. Gokul was pleasantly surprised not to have any attitude display from some one who has sung for A R Rahman and Yuvan Shankar Raja. While most artistes walk into studios expecting the producer to pamper them, here was Chitra ordering samosas and coffee for everyone!
May her tribe increase! And may we have the pleasure of working more often with her!
