The Music Mint

A day in the life of The Music Mint, our studio. The studio has its share of friends, well-wishers, people who love recording here and of course plenty who've never heard of it. This is to share a mint a day!

Diwali

Happy Diwali to everyone out there! We are also full of habba feeling thanks to the habba habbavo sounding better and better as the mix progresses!
Ram and I will get to the studio and hope to finish the song. No idea when Gokul plans to come in. It's festivities in the air and Tejas is watching a Karnatak programme on TV, giving up his usual cartoon channels.
Tomorrow Ram needs to finish the title track with the violinists.
More later

Suchitra,
Check this out:

End of days for iPod?
Well, the war is finally over. The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry has announced that half of all digital music sold in 2005 went directly to cellphones (including ringtones). The cellphone has emerged preferable to the iPod on two key fronts. For most buyers it will be the device of choice for playing music and taking photographs. Some cellphones are now as good as the standard digital cameras of a couple of years ago. Appleā€™s in denial, though. When it suffered a sharp drop in iPod sales, it blamed it, implausibly, on seasonal factors.
